I would have been scared... deadly residential lighting?!

As scary as it is, before we had the luxury of high pressure sodium lights, MERCURY VAPOR was used for lighting! can you believe that??

luckily they were never really used in residential lighting applications... can you imagine living in a home with mercury vapor all around?

what a frightening thought!

In the News: grow lights

I saw this thing on the news about a big marijuana bust... in this little apartment, this guy had like 100 pot plants and all sorts of grow lights, timed watering systems, high pressure sodium lights, fertilizers... all kinds of stuff. The cops said that the street value of the weed was almost a million bucks! Crazy how much money a plant can be worth!!!!
